The story so far

  1. A camera and a drone

FrozenArt Media started in Manchester with a camera and a drone — music videos, events and aerial work for artists, brands and fellow studios.

  2. Sound and picture

Both halves come from the same place: wanting to see and hear exactly what is going on.

  3. Measured, not guessed

So we write the software we wished we had in the studio — tools like PluginTracer, which shows what a plugin actually does to your signal.

  4. One app at the centre

FrozenArt Access installs, updates and licenses every plugin — everything turns around it. Members get the first bundle free.

Analysis New

PluginTracer

See what your plugins actually do.

PluginTracer places a plugin between two measurement points, drives it with controlled test signals and shows what comes out: frequency and phase response, harmonics and intermodulation, dynamics, attack and release, the stereo field, transients and latency. It measures observable behaviour only, and says where a measurement stops being reliable. Analyse offline in the standalone host, or inside your session with PluginTracer IN and OUT around the plugin: as Audio Units in Logic Pro and as VST3 plugins in Cubase, Live, Reaper, Studio One and Bitwig. Live mode follows the plugin while your song plays, and comparison sets put plugins, settings and levels side by side.

Phase alignment Coming soon

PhaseDoctor

Keeps your tracks in phase with the beat.

Put PhaseDoctor on the track that fights the beat — a vocal, a bass, a synth — and send it the beat. It analyses the two for five seconds and works out a solution: a time offset, and the phase at every frequency. Press MAGIC: where the track and the beat cancel each other, PhaseDoctor turns the track so they add up instead, steadily where the relation holds and note by note where it changes. Where the beat covers a vocal, Clarity lifts the vocal there — only at the frequencies the beat covers, only while it covers them, and just far enough to be heard.

Dynamic EQ

+ Tube saturator and exciter

The EQP-1A’s low and high sections — the same curves, the same interplay between boost and attenuation, the same slight tube and transformer harmonics — with dynamics on top: each section’s knobs can turn by themselves as the band gets louder or quieter than a threshold, like a hand on the knobs.
